homelessness, mental health crises, and problems at
home or school—but they are also incredibly
resilient. By becoming a 2026 Haven House
Sponsor, you directly support the essential programs
and services that help our young people meet their
basic needs, build skills, and access the resources
they need to succeed. Together, we can help all
youth reach their full potential. Join us in making an

YOUTH HOMELESSNESS
Shelter, housing, and basic needs
assistance for youth ages 10-24
OUR THREE AREAS OF FOCUS
Founded in 1973, Haven House helped more than 2,000 local youth ages 7-24 last year overcome
challenges and find a path to success. This is a 68% increase in the number served in just the
past few years. Many of the youth we serve are experiencing homelessness and/or a crisis at
home or school. Some have a history of trauma, abuse, or neglect. Others have made mistakes
and are involved or are at high risk for involvement in the juvenile justice system.
18-year-old Camila* recently moved from homelessness
into her first apartment as part of our Transition in Place
rapid re-housing program. Even once she was safely
housed, there were many barriers to overcome — school
paperwork, missing documents, and transportation issues
— and she felt stuck. Step by step, Haven House staff
members helped her work through each challenge. Within
two weeks, Camila had turned in all her forms to obtain
her high school diploma. Now she’s fully enrolled and
attending GED classes. Our staff also coached her
through replacing her missing Medicaid card. As Camila’s
caseworker said, “It’s amazing what can happen when a
young person finally gets the support they need.”

The Wrenn House Resource closet allows youth to select clothing, shoes, and
personal care items for use during their stay and beyond.
WRENN HOUSE RESOURCE CLOSET
In conjunction with community partners, Haven House offers several free
clinics each year. Dental clinics provide exams and basic repair work.
Vision clinics allow youth and siblings to have an eye exam and, if needed,
a free pair of eyeglasses. Health clinics give youth and families an opportunity
to get a physical and basic immunizations, regardless of insurance status.

Haven House Services | 2026 Sponsorship Opportunities
The 12 Rounds Executive Challenge is a four-day peer-to-peer
fundraising campaign supporting Haven House’s Second Round
program. This spring, 24 local executives will come together to
raise at least $72,000 to ensure the program continues serving
youth during the critical summer months.
Your sponsorship support will be used as a matching gift for the
challenge, motivating more people to give while highlighting your
organization as a champion for youth in our community.
What is Second Round?
Second Round is a free after-school boxing and fitness-based intervention
program for youth ages 12 to 21. Participants build strength in four key areas:
wellness, learning, leadership, and community. The program operates year-
round, with staff supporting youth as they set and work toward personal goals.

SPONSOR BENEFITS
The Law Firm Challenge is a week-long fundraising campaign each fall that unites several Raleigh-area
law firms around a shared goal: helping young people in crisis find safety, stability, and support.
During the challenge, attorneys and staff contribute to their firm’s fundraising page, working together (with
some friendly competition) to raise critical funds for Haven House Services. This year’s goal is to raise at
least $75,000 to support Haven House’s homeless, mental health, and diversion programs for youth and
families in Wake County.
As a sponsor, your support will be featured as a matching gift during the challenge to incentivize giving
while making a significant difference in the lives of young people.
To ensure fairness among participating firms, law firms may participate in the challenge as a firm team but are not eligible to be
sponsors. Firms are welcome to make a firm contribution to their own team. All sponsors must be approved by representatives of the law
firms participating in the 2026 challenge.
